We are in the historic textile Mill at Shady Lea, Studio 107, 215 Shady Lea Road, North Kingstown, RI. We're open from 10 til 2 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. If you are travelling and these days don't work out, please call ahead. We are likely in the studio and can meet you!!
We are adding evening rug hooking classes!
Dawn Hebert is adding evening hours to her 2nd Thursdays class series starting in March. She is welcoming hookers of all levels, even if you have never pulled a loop. Classes will start at 5:30 and run til 8:30 for 4 monthly classes starting in March. See the "Studio Workshops" page for more details.
ATHA Region 1 Rug School South
Sturbridge, MA April 1-4, 2025
Laura Kenyon will be teaching at this year's ATHA Rug School. There is still room in her class. She will teach an open class allowing you to chose your own project and style. She will guide you to achieve what you have in mind. The other teachers will be: Betty McClentic, Kathy Spellacy and Caroline Twigg. Sebago Lake Rug Hooking School 2025
Laura Kenyon will again be teaching at the Sebago Lake School in 2025. The dates are May 18-23. The classes are held at St Joseph College in Standish, Maine. Studio Events
We set aside the Second Saturday of each month for open hooking in the studio. We have sooo much fun. Just bring your stuff, settle in, and enjoy other fun folks. Come for an hour, or two, or four!

The whole mill will be abuzz this June 7 and 8. Visit as many as 40 artists and artisans in their studios to discuss (and buy?) their work.
