Beginner Rug Hooking
We have a series of beginner classes planned for the Fall at the studio. Please contact us if you would like to learn the basics. These classes are truly for beginners, even if you have never tried traditional rug hooking. All supplies are available for purchase in class or bring: a 14 inch quilt hoop, small scissors with a point, a rug hook. Purchase a beginner kit or bring a project ready to start with cut wool strips. No class fee. Class time 11 til 2 Teachers: Laura Kenyon and Debra Walland Class size is limited to 6-8 people. Beginner to Intermediate Rug Hooking
Dawn is still accepting students to join her for the remainder of classes
March 14, April 11, May 9, June 13 10am to 2 pm
We are welcoming a guest teacher to the studio! Dawn Hebert will be teaching a series of monthly classes for those who have at least pulled their first loops and wish to finish a beginner project or work toward learning more hooking skills . Dawn is a certified McGown teacher who has been hooking for 20 years. She teaches anything from primitive to fine shading
This is an open class, that is, you can work on any rug in any style. Bring what you are currently working on or start a new project with a kit or a pattern and wool in the studio.
Class fee is $60 for the series of 4 classes, due at the first class. Please contact Dawn for further information and registration:
